Mama my Barber

Since my last visit to the barber shop at the end of last year, I am proud to say that my hair has been quite well maintained by my beloved Mama! It did take her several attempts though but I think she has gotten quite the hang of it now. The snips are cut-lines are now more consistent and more boy-cut-like. :-P

Now, I wonder why Mama never extended her barber service to Papa too…:-?

Hair or Head?

A puzzler that has been bugging me for some time now.

“Which grows faster – my hair or my head?”

If my head grows faster, will it me make look like like I’m balding or losing hair? Or if my hair grows faster, shouldn’t I be due for a haircut soon? And if both my hair and head grow at the same speed, will that mean I will not need any haircut for the rest of my life?!!

Or am I wasting too much time thinking of these hairy things? Hmmmm….

Remembering My Hairless Ordeal...

My first hair cut at the end of last year is recalled thru these series of pictures...

Soothe Scratchings

There is just something wonderful about the feeling of being scratched on the top of my head that I simply cannot explain.

When those fingers run through my hair in a smooth motion, rubbing and scratching my head, it just invokes one of those “aaahhh….” Feelings that doesn’t need many words to describe.

I will just easily close my eyes, drift off the world, and enjoy this sensation with pleasure, complete with a satisfied grin on my face. “ahhhhh”.

Won’t you try it today too? :-P

Hairy Strokes

I think I’m beginning to learn why adults spend so much time on their hair – you know, those soft, silky strands of thread-like fibre on your head? It is somewhat relaxing and soothing whenever someone strokes my hair.

If not, I can always reach out for it myself and stroke and pull it myself. Really nice feeling!

Do I look more like Mama or Papa?

Apart from the typical “So cute” and “Shhhh…he’s sleeping” phrases, one of the most frequently asked questions in my first week is who do I look like more.

Well, the safe answer would be that all babies look the same, so I also don’t really know yet. However, upon closer observations and using CSI-honed instincts, one may actually see that I have tried my best to take a bit from both my parents. See what a good son I already am at this age!

From Mama: Hair on my head (I’m not botak…yay!), sharp high nosed feature, distinct eyebrow

From Papa: Trademark chin, fair skin complexion

Gimme a few more months and I’ll tell you who I look like more, OK?
