Cool Dip in the Pool

I had a really fun time in Kampar in late May when I followed Papa and Mama to our church family camp. We stayed at this Grand Kampar Hotel which came complete with a bathtub in the room and also a bigger open-air bathtub on the hotel roof level.

Most people call this the swimming pool. It was my first ever contact with this cool feature. Who would ever thought that tonnes of water contained within a dug up hole surrounded by walls could provide so much fun must be a genius!

Papa and Mama took out my cool float and arm floats and so off I went for a cool dip in the pool! Best bath-like simulation I ever had! And no soap too! Hee!

Water Catcher

In my early days of exploring the many uses of my gangster grip, I would curiously touch, feel and grab anything that is within my range.

However, somehow there was this one thing that has always eluded me. During my favourite bath times, especially shower baths, I would observe streams of water jetting out at great speeds from the shower nozzle. Ah…try as hard as I may, I would never be able to catch these continuous movement of water. Sigh.

Ah well, at least I still enjoy a happy splashy time during baths!

Splashy, Happy Bath Times

I always enjoy my bath times! I guess that’s where people got the term ‘a splashing good time!’ Here are some exclusive photos of me enjoying my splashy and happy bath times! Wee!

Rubber Duckies

This is a blog about these yellow rubber duckies that supposedly keeps me company during my bath times. They comprise of one mother duck and three other smaller ones which can fit snugly behind the mother duck.

All the ducks sure look cute as they can float in my tub and make squeaky sounds when pressed. However, personally, I don’t really like them cos they are taking up my precious bath space! Hmmmph…

I think I shall grow up liking to eat ducks….mmmmmmm.:-p

Bathtub Holder

With my ever increasing strength of gripping stuff, my bath times have become more pleasureable. As I sit comfortably inside the tub, both my hands will grip tightly to the sides of the tub that will allow Mama to bathe me and shower me with enjoyable and fun water more easily.

I’m telling you, I am ready! I am ready for my very own Jacuzzi!! :-D

Beach Boy

Two weekends ago was another first contact episode for me. Papa and Mama took me to Port Dickson. Still don’t know why they call it a port when I don’t see any boats at all and all I see are sand….Anyway, my church was having a youth camp there and it was a good opportunity for me to see the beach for the very first time! Wee! (or so I thought)

Personally, it turns out that seeing the big blue (more green, I think) sea and the sand the beaches up close wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be. Sure, it was fun seeing so much water and feel the windy beach breeze. Papa even took me to ‘bathe’ in the salty water for a while. But the moving sea, cold waters and noisy crowd didn’t make my first contact with the beach and sea so pleasant.

Ah well, maybe I just need more beach time. J

Hail Caesar!

Mama says I look like a Roman emperor after each bath, especially when I’m wrapped around with a towel, like in the picture.

But, hey…if I’m the emperor, how come I’m the one who always gets tossed into the gladiator-arena like cot? The cruel world must have something against baby emperors, I tell you. Hmmmmph…

One Water Bed, Please!

Bath time is still one of my favourite sessions of my life so far. And I think the adults are beginning to use it on me as a weapon too. You see, now whenever I cry and wail and nothing else seem to work to soothe me, they will deduce that my diapers need a-changing, and in the process, “ might as well give wailin’ Collin a bath too. It’s sure to stop his wailing!”

Sure enough, I will be so satisfied in the tub of water, enjoying my limited minutes of satisfaction in the warmth and comfort of the water element. If my minutes are not long enough to my mark, I will start my wailing the second I am taken out of my tub.

Hmmm. I wonder how long I have to do this stunt before they know that what I want is really my own water bed!!...(still yearning for my jacuzzi, but have since been more realistic)

Longer Baths, Please?

Is there a restriction to how long a baby should be given a bath? That’s my major grouse today.

I enjoy my bath times. I really do! Even though I am stark naked and cold, these daily bath sessions is something I look forward to everyday. And the best part of the session is when Ah Por puts me into the baby bath tub filled with warm water. Whoa….that is life. The comfiness, the rush, the relaxation. Now I think I could even sleep in here.

Only problem is that just when I was starting to get comfortable in the bath tub of warm water, I am pulled out, clothed up, fed in and put into the basket. Sigh. I wonder why. I tried to cry my way back to the warmth of the water but to no avail.

HHmmmmph. Fine. I shall accept that the adults rule for now cos they have the shampoo in their hands. I can’t wait to get my very own Jacuzzi so I can soak myself silly then
