Phone Fun
Oct 26, 2009
One of my favourite play toys is this item called the phone. This small little gadget must be pretty important to adults as I have seen almost every adult holding and talking into one. It looks pretty simple to operate too. By pressing some of those numbered buttons on the front, one can then talk into the phone.
When we were in hotel rooms where there were at least two of these phones, it was just so much fun for me to pick up, press and play. Strangely, no one ever responds to my “hello” when I speak into it.
Perhaps I didn’t press enough numbers. Or perhaps it has something to do with some wires attached to it that Papa pulled out earlier. Hmmm...
Vacuum Helper
Aug 27, 2009
With big gadgets like the vacuum cleaner lying around the house, adults sure do have all the fun!
So when I had the chance to get my hands on it, I sure took the chance to help do some house chores. Mama sure was proud of me!
Wonder if they will allow me to operate my washing machine cum jacuzzi next?
Sweet Switch
Aug 24, 2009
I tell you, there are just so many gadgets waiting to be discovered around the house alone!! A couple of weeks back I found this interesting little switch that has been neatly embedded into the walls of the house. I also noticed the majority of these switches have been conveniently placed so high up it is clearly beyond the reach of my fingers.
Anyway, every now and then when I am carried and happen to walk past one of such switches, I would make it a case to explore it. Sometimes I am allowed to touch it. That was when I discovered it is a magical switch that is linked to a light source nearby.
When the switch is flicked, the light will come on and when pressed again, the light disappears! Whoa!! I wonder if my psycho mode and good boy mode works the same way….hee!

Inspector Gadget
Dec 16, 2008
This is another one of those things which I wouldn’t be able to explain. I seem to be most easily attracted to sophisticated gadgets like remote controls, DVD players and handphones. But I think I still need more practice on using it though. So far, I have only managed to turn off the teevee when my teeth sinks onto some red coloured button of the remote control. Haven’t managed to completely play with handphones nor DVD player yet.
Perhaps the attraction is caused by all the gadgety-looking toys they have for babies these days. You know…stuff like the baby monitor; toy phone that doubles as a book; book that plays music; set of keys that rattle, shake and make music; etc.
Boy, it sure is good to a be a baby of this hi-tech generation.:-D

Jingle Ball?
Dec 11, 2008
Mama brought home this unique looking toy for me one day. A plastic ball that jingles because it has some sort of bells inside, huge enough for my hands to grip, additional game of crawling after the rolling ball, etc. – what more can a baby ask for, eh?Sad to say, my fearsome forearm and grip combined to crack the ball some time ago. Ah, well….Collin-proof it sure ain’t.
Taxing Walker Danger
Oct 28, 2008
I have a new toy to play with at Mrs D’s house. You see, Sis Angie (one of the other two girls with me under Mrs D’s care) has no more need for this baby walker so I get to play with it all day long now. Wee!Initially, I was only able to move in reverse gear…but now, after weeks of stick shift practices, I think I am ready for any Nascar walker races, if any. Hee! Dunno why people still see me as a hallway hazard...
Simple little gadget, but it sure helps in preventing me from falling again and again. Quite embarrassing to fall down at a regular rate in front of so many ladies ya know? Shhhhh…:-p
My First Shopping Day!!
May 22, 2008
Last Saturday, I had my first taste of this strange sport or sorts called “shopping”. Papa and Mama decided to get some groceries that evening and thought I was finally old enough to follow.
Papa was excited that he was finally going to be able to use the stroller which he bought months before I was born! So, he quickly brought it down and eagerly practiced opening and closing it. Believe me, it was a pretty scary sight.
Anyway, my traveling bag was quickly packed (Hmmm..Papa and Mama seems to be getting better at this packing thing) and before I knew it, we were off to Alamanda for my first ever shopping experience!
Before that evening, I never knew this shopping sport had such a fanatical following! There were people everywhere! Everywhere, I tell you! Didn’t feel quite comfortable at all that evening. At least I now know shopping and peace don’t go together.
And it was also really weird when I saw most shoppers pushing around those big steel strollers. I wouldn’t want to be strolling around and shopping in a cage!! Yup, I think I still prefer Papa’s stroller…the extra stroller padding sure makes it more comfy.
Sure felt like a rookie that day. L Hmmm…probably need some more time before I really get the hang of this sport.
