Papa must be really proud of me now that I have finally started to kick the toy football be bought me many many moons ago. Still don’t quite get the concepts yet, so most of the time when the kicking frustrates me, I would prefer to just pick it up with my hands, throw it and run around.
Human Rock Climber
Just added this addictive activity into my extreme sport hobby portfolio. In adult terms, it is called rock climbing, but since I’m obviously too small to be doing actual rock climbing, I compensate by climbing all over human rocks, namely Mama and Papa.
Thief on Trial
The other weekend at the mall, I had my first real drama. Papa followed me into this shop that sells so many videos and CDs. I was really fascinated with all those Korean, Japanese or Chinese (they all look the same to me!) box sets that were displayed but Papa kept putting back all the items I had taken off the rack.
As we moved on other sections, one particular box set caught my eye. I grabbed it from the shelf and held it in my hand for a while. From the corner of my eye, I noticed Papa was looking elsewhere at that moment. With a glee, I sprinted away with the box set. As I reached the exit, alarm sirens sounded and everyone in the shop and surrounding areas trained their eyes on me. I was stunned for a second as Papa caught up with me immediately and hurried me back to return the box set.
Whew. It sure pays to have cuteness on your side whilst conducting these thieving stunts!
Saliva Bomber
Before I know it, my flight path would be littered with saliva… hee!
One Eyed Jack
Anyway, it left me a droopy one eyed look for a day. Papa and Mama also took me to see the doc just to be sure it wasn’t anything more serious than an insect bite. Papa mentioned he was quite relieved that the Insecticons weren’t responsible for it.
Transformable Toys
Anyway, the cool thing about these toys is that they can be reversed inside out to become a truck and a car! And they are made of soft materials so there should be no way I could hurt myself playing with them.
Strange thing is Papa seems more excited about them than me. Hmmmm.
Stunt Driver
Another method which I would like to highlight today is the length of my leg to that gear stick that separates me from Papa in the car. The other day I realized my right feet was long enough to actually ‘rest’ on this stick! Isn’t that cool? I could finally assist Papa in his driving!
So a few days later, we were driving home at night when I realized the gear stick was incorrectly still engaged in Day. Papa didn’t seem to realize this so I thought I’d be a good son and help him. So, I gave one good kick and shifted the gear stick back to Night. Thought Papa would be happy but he instead he shifted the stick back to Day and drove on.
I guessed I must have done something wrong because from the next day onwards, my car seat has been permanently shifted to the back again…sigh.
(S)Car(e) Wash

For those of you who have not gone through the machine cycle, it is one scary ride! Imagine foam splashing on every side of the windows and cars, rotating brushes scrubbing every inch of the car, going through a dark, confined space with nowhere else to go…it was quite traumatic for me.
Think I need to grow more courage before I agree to let Papa take me through this ‘joy’ ride again.

Happy Birthday Papa!!
Parenting Tip: Old Macdonald – Papa’s Extended Version
However, since the song isn’t very long by nature, Papa has thrown in a few more animals into the song so that it becomes an extended version that can last for up to about 20 minutes of playtime! I kid you not! Hee!
I would like to share this extended version with everyone today, thinking it may be a helpful song for other parents who may need to sing the song longer than it usual length.
Old Macdonald had a farm
E-I-E-I-O
And on his farm he had some dogs
E-I-E-I-O
And a

Here poop there poop, everywhere poop poop
Old Macdonald had a farm
And it’s a smelly farm…
Come to think of it, considering the number of animals in the song, we could also replace farm with zoo! Hee!
Sofa So Good
Using my ever growing leg and arm muscles, I am able to push myself up onto the sofa already! Wee! Hmmm...now that I have that sofa conquered, I think I can target those steps which lead upstairs already....:-P

Gimme Cartoons!
Spectacles Spectacle

Papa’s eye glasses found out the hard way when I managed to grab hold of it one day. Managed to pull it away to have a closer look. And had a taste of it - not very nice; and almost broke it in two also if not for my under-developed super strength.
These days, Papa seems more wary of the whereabouts of my arms whenever he carries me. J
More Football Fortunes for Papa!
So, here comes along the Olympics and his favourite Argentina team walked away with the Gold Medal, beating Nigeria 1-0. I heard that Messi was the star throughout the entire Olympics.
Wait-a-minute! Isn’t Messi the name of one of our dogs?!!!
Happy Papa Day! (15 June 08)
I found out that today is a day that is dedicated to all Papas of the world, so I would like to say in my simple love note here “Happy Papa Day!! I love you!!”
Thank you for showing me so much love, patience, care, joy, and humour of course, since the day I was born. Thank you also for your support and encouragement to Mama too. I am truly thankful for a Papa like you.
So, for today…I promise to try to be at me most bestest and obedienest behaviour so that you can be proud of me!
Your #1 Fan and Son,

Papa’s Second Baby
Anyway, many may not know this but there was an unwritten race as to which baby would be the first to be delivered – what more with the both of us due in March of this year. So I am of course, proud to mention I won that race rather handsomely (ahem).
So after a delay of close to five months, Papa’s second baby and my competitor, has arrived. My initial assessment of the competition looks bad. Heck, even his ID (Allan’s Grand Livina) has Papa’s name on it! What a sneaky fella.
- He poops too! But whenever a poop occurs, it enables him to move distances. In comparison, whenever I poop, everyone nearby travels distances..
- He doesn’t feed much but when he does, it is by the LITRES!! Thank God I don’t have to share Mama’s goodness with this fella.
- Doesn’t look like he needs as much attention as I do, but I have a feeling when he does, it’s gonna be pretty costly.
Anyway, I hope to be able to co-exist together with this other baby. Besides, I’m sure we can go places together. ;-D
