Little Bully

This is just a little black mark in this stellar phase of my life. Mrs D has caught me a few times bullying Angie, who is about 2 years older than me. Some of my bullying tactics include taking away her pillow when she is asleep; or pulling away her milk bottle when she is feeding…

In addition, I’ve also been caught in the act of beating other people (affectionately I may add..) or even spitting when things don’t go my way.

Hmmmph. Need to find more discreet ways to bully and not be found out. Hehe. Shhhhhhh.

More Saliva = Less Charm

Since my tongue operation, I seem to be expressing more and more saliva, uncontrollably. Hope it is something temporary that will go away as I learn to control my glands better.

Meanwhile, my charming self-image has been tarnished somewhat in recent days. You see, the pretty girls who are also with me throughout the day at Mrs D's house has distanced themselves from me!

"Eeee! so much saliva one..."
"Aiyeeee..."

These are certainly tough times...:-(

Taxing Walker Danger

I have a new toy to play with at Mrs D’s house. You see, Sis Angie (one of the other two girls with me under Mrs D’s care) has no more need for this baby walker so I get to play with it all day long now. Wee!

Initially, I was only able to move in reverse gear…but now, after weeks of stick shift practices, I think I am ready for any Nascar walker races, if any. Hee! Dunno why people still see me as a hallway hazard...

Simple little gadget, but it sure helps in preventing me from falling again and again. Quite embarrassing to fall down at a regular rate in front of so many ladies ya know? Shhhhh…:-p

A Wedding Dinner to Remember

It was really exciting two weekends ago when I attended my very first wedding dinner!

Mrs D (my babysitter)’s son got married and so I was invited to join in this wonderful celebration which took place at some golf resort in Bukit Jalil. There was a small episode when Papa and Mama brought me to some registration counter outside the wedding dinner hall that night. The lovely girls behind the counter could not seem to find Papa nor Mama’s name there. No names means noentry. No entry means no table. No table means no first wedding dinner for me!! Noooooo…well, before I let out a huge wail of panic, our names were located – under “Parent’s of Collin” (ahem!).

The whole dinner arrangement looked grand and everyone that came looked quite well-dressed for the occasion. Mama also came with her new killer boots! Hee! I also managed to meet ‘Dato and Datin’ Leong, parents to Angie, who is also sat by Mrs D. Noise level was quite loud though. So I kept crying for some quietness..:-p

There was another strange episode midway through the dinner when I was carried outside to calm me down. Two little girls walking past suddenly saw me and recognized me Collin! I felt awkward because I couldn’t recognize them. They looked like some of Mrs D’s neighbours but I’m not sure. Everyone sure looked different after dressing up.:-p

My persistent crying led Papa and Mama to take me home after the 6th course, which looked like some roasted chicken dish. I heard Papa mentioning it seemed like the first time he’s ever left a wedding dinner this early. Well, I am glad I was able to help Papa and Mama achieve a first too. Hee!

The Babysitteh Cometh

My daily adventures with my daytime babysitter has started since the beginning of this month. So far so good. Mrs. D also takes care two other girls who are much much older than me. On my second day there when Papa brought me over in the morning at about the same time the other mother brought her daughter Angie, Papa found out that the mother was a university friend! What a small world. ;-D

Anyway, I have been behaving in my bestest self when I’m over in Mrs D’s house. But I do look forward to the evenings when Papa or Mama comes to pick me home. Maybe that’s what working life will be like – going to a strange unfamiliar place in the morning and put on a good behaviour mode, whilst counting the hours to evening to go home…hee hee..

Excuse Me, I’m Not a Chair!

Not feeling too good today. You see, Papa came to see me over the weekend, but when he left for KL on Sunday evening, Mama followed him back too. Missing Papa on weekdays was bad enough…sigh…really feel lonely today.

Apparently Mama went back to KL to settle a few things at the office and also to help look for someone to sit on me…Hmmm…didn’t quite like that last bit. Sure sounds like a painful exercise. I guess that’s why chairs were invented.

Anyway, my gloom should disappear by late evening when Mama finishes her business and takes a bus back here to be with me. ;-D
